Drop-Off Party Policy 🎉

Summary: This Drop-Off Party policy explains the rules for parents, hosts, and Party Palz staff. Children’s safety is the top priority. Read these terms before attending or booking a party at Party Palz. Attendance implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. ⚠️

Drop-Off Policy ✅

  • Parents and guardians may drop off children when the booking parent or appointed host accepts full supervision for the party duration.
  • Drop-off is permitted only where the host agrees to supervise all children present, including behaviour, toilet trips, and medical needs.
  • Party Palz provides the venue, activities, and safety-compliant equipment. Staff do not assume direct supervision unless an additional service is arranged and confirmed in advance.

Responsibilities — Party Host / Booking Parent 👪

  • The hosting adult is responsible for supervising all children left in their care for the entire booking.
  • Hosts must remain on the premises for the full duration and collect emergency contact details for every child.
  • If a host leaves early, responsibility remains with them until another adult clearly accepts supervision in writing or in person.

Responsibilities — Party Palz Staff 🛠️

  • Party Palz staff will provide a safe venue, maintain equipment, and run activities.
  • Staff follow safeguarding procedures and ensure facilities meet safety standards.
  • Staff do not accept direct supervision responsibility for children unless pre-arranged as an additional paid service.

Responsibilities — Parents / Guardians of Attending Children 🧒

  • Parents may drop off children aged 10 and over only if the host accepts responsibility.
  • Parents must return on time for pick-up. ⏰ Repeated late collections may incur fees or refusal of future drop-off bookings.
  • Inform the host and Party Palz of allergies, medical needs, or special care requirements prior to the party.
  • Provide accurate emergency contact information.

Safeguarding & Safety 🔒

  • All staff follow Party Palz safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
  • If a child is distressed or dangerous, the hosting parent will be asked to intervene immediately.
  • Serious incidents will be handled under safeguarding protocol and may be reported to relevant authorities.
  • Party Palz reserves the right to refuse drop-off or require a parent to remain if safety cannot be assured.

  • Bookings must be made in advance via the Venue Hire Request Form. The named hirer is responsible for all attendees.
  • One-off bookings require a non-refundable deposit. Regular bookings are invoiced monthly. Cancellations under 7 days may be charged in full.

Access, Cleaning & Safety

  • Access only during booked time including set-up and tidy-up. Out-of-hours access via key safe where provided.
  • Leave the venue tidy. Damage, breakages, or extra cleaning may be charged.
  • All children must be supervised. Organisers with children must hold PVG/disclosure checks where applicable.
  • No smoking, vaping, alcohol, helium canisters, or open flames without prior consent.

Terms and conditions-

Entry Behaviour

  • Entry permitted under supervision of Party Palz staff. Socks must be worn in play areas.
  • Respectful behaviour required. Abuse, bullying, or aggression will result in removal without refund.
  • Only food from the Party Palz café is allowed on-site (except baby food or pre-agreed dietary items). Inform staff of allergies.
  • Party Palz is not responsible for lost property. Lost items stored for one week.
  • Parents may photograph their own children only. No filming of other children without permission.

Terms and conditions - Fire actions & Refunds

  • Familiarise yourself with fire exits and assembly points. In an emergency call 999 and notify management.
  • Refunds are not given for time lost due to behaviour breaches, early departures, or temporary closures for cleaning/maintenance.
  • By attending or hiring Party Palz you confirm you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions. Party Palz may cancel or refuse bookings if safety, behaviour, or payment terms are not met.
